Services

At Flourish Art Psychotherapy, Carly offers a range of specialist art psychotherapy, clinical supervision, training and therapeutic group services. Drawing upon over 17 years of experience across mental health, healthcare, education and community settings, each service is thoughtfully adapted to meet the needs of the individual, group or organisation.

Individual Art Psychotherapy

One-to-one therapy | In person or online

Individual art psychotherapy sessions are offered on a weekly basis, either face-to-face within Carly’s therapy space or online. Sessions provide a safe, confidential and client-led environment to explore emotional wellbeing, life experiences and personal challenges through art, creativity, conversation and somatic approaches. No previous artistic experience is required.

Clinical Supervision for Art Psychotherapists

For qualified and trainee Art Psychotherapists

Carly offers clinical supervision to Art Psychotherapists and trainee therapists, providing a reflective and supportive space to explore clinical practice, therapeutic relationships, ethical considerations, professional development and the use of art within therapy. Supervision is tailored to the individual practitioner and their stage of training or professional development.

Contracted Art Psychotherapy Services

Working with Local Authorities, NHS and Third Sector Organisations

Carly provides contracted art psychotherapy services to organisations supporting children and young people, including those in care and other specialist services. She works collaboratively with agencies to provide psychologically informed, trauma-sensitive and creative therapeutic interventions that respond to the needs of the children and young people being supported.

Training & Professional Development

Attachment | Trauma | Neurodiversity

Carly provides training and educational sessions for organisations seeking to develop their understanding of attachment, trauma and neurodiversity. Training can be adapted to the needs of individual teams and services, supporting professionals to develop greater awareness, confidence and psychologically informed approaches within their work.

Art Psychotherapy Groups

Creative therapeutic groups | In person and online

Carly delivers art psychotherapy groups across a range of settings, both face-to-face and online. Groups can be developed around the specific needs of the population and setting, creating opportunities for shared expression, connection and therapeutic exploration through creative practice.

Group work can be tailored for:

  • People living with long-term or complex mental health difficulties

  • Parents and carers

  • Neurodivergent children, young people and adults

  • Teenagers and young people

  • Adults accessing long-term mental health services

  • Educational and alternative education settings

  • Online therapeutic education services

Each group is carefully planned around the needs of the participants, using art and creative processes as a means of communication, emotional expression and therapeutic exploration.
